My career began in 1976 as a licensed salesperson when I joined my family business, Hotchkiss Agency. I owned and managed my family’s business in 1989 when I became a Licensed Broker. The business transformed into a partnership over the years. In April 2005, I sold Hotchkiss & Holway Realty to ERA and worked there until I affiliated with Showcase Realty in 2011.
In February 2016 I became real estate broker associate with Keller Williams in West Hartford, Connecticut working from my home office in Thomaston, CT.
My coverage area includes Thomaston, Torrington, Harwinton, Litchfield, Watertown, Oakville, Plymouth, and Terryville. Home Light ranks me as one of the top 2% of agents in Thomaston for successfully selling homes and as one of the top agents for short sales.
I’m a member of the National and Connecticut Association of Realtors. During my career, I earned the Graduate of Realtors Designation (GRI) in 1987, Certified Real Estate Brokerage Manager designation (CRB) in 1991, Accredited Buyer Representative designation in 2004 (ABR), E-Pro designation in 2004 and Top Gun through ERA in 2006.
In the field of construction, as a homeowner, I remodeled and redecorated an older multi-family home, built a ranch style home and added a second-floor addition to the ranch. I also created a subdivision of lots and currently manage my multi-family properties in the Thomaston area.
I am currently a member of the Thomaston Rotary Club, Thomaston Lions Club, the Economic Development Commission It would be my honor to assist you with your real estate needs.
My career as Realtor actually began in my youth when I job shadowed my mother, Susan Hotchkiss Holway, Owner/Broker of Hotchkiss Agency. In 1998, I decided a career as an accountant was not for me and joined my mother in the opening of Hotchkiss/Holway Realty Co. In April of 2005, we sold Hotchkiss & Holway Realty Co. to ERA Property Center of Torrington and I stayed with them as an agent. In 2011, I moved to Showcase Realty.
During my career, I earned the Graduate of Realtors Institute designation (GRI) in 2002, Accredited Buyer Representative designation (ABR) in 2004, E-Pro designation in 2004 and graduated Top Gun through ERA in 2006. I have held the following positions with the Litchfield County Board of Realtors: Director 2000 & 2001, Treasurer 2002, 2003 & 2008, President 2004 & 2005, and Immediate Past President 2006. A member and chairman of the Budget committee 1999-2003 & 2007, a member and chairman of Information Technology committee 2002 & 2003. In 2005, I was awarded Realtor of the Year from the Litchfield County Board of Realtors. Outside of real estate, I volunteer with Harwinton Youth Sports Association, Harwinton PTA and Harwinton Consolidated School. I live in Harwinton with my husband Lee and 2 boys Jacob and Justin.
